Love your motives and style, not only for this week’s IF topic! And I really wonder how you give this hand-printed touch to your digital drawings. Great work!

Thanks! The look is mostly from using a Wacom tablet. I don’t have the best one, but the limitations are good for me, I think. Also, I tend to use tools that mimic pens and pencils instead of all the other tools…although I should use them more. I used to like working with digital watercolor, for one thing…but right now I’m mostly concerned with just recovering the fundamentals…I didn’t draw anything for several years and it’s taking a long time to relearn how to draw.

Your use of the medium is brilliant! I’d really like to know what’s going on here. The shower head, the crystally thing, the heart slot. Fascinating!

Well, if you call this “relearn”… :) it’s brilliant! Reminds me of early 20’s futuristic art. Unfortunately I am a complete wacom tablet illiterate, no idea what a mimic pen is, for example. I only had a few opportunities to play around with it and would love to use it more often. Your work encourages to get me a wee one soon!
