Experimental Anaglyphs

Still in the trial-and-error phase on this stuff. Mostly error. But getting there, slowly. I mean, I guess no matter how many tutorials and instructables and whatever else you read, doing these 3D style things is ultimately some sort of tricky subtle art. Maybe. Anyhow, don’t hurt your brain or eyeballs looking at them too much…they barely work as far as I can tell. I mean, the whole idea is, various parts of the drawings should appear to exist at different depths, but instead my first attempts are all the same depth. Getting a slight 3D effect as if the whole drawing is popping out is a pretty pointless effect. I guess there’s some detail about doing these things I’m missing or skipping or just plain not understanding yet. I bet the answer is going to involve layers, one way or another. After all, that’s usually the answer. Though the problem could be as simple as the low-quality glasses I’m using…they came out of a late-20th Century VHS tape of Robot Monster.
